In yugioh what cards are there which protects me from effect damage caused by my own cards?

I run a samurai deck and have seen a new card from the new released force of the breaker. The card is called walls to the back. The effect requires me to reduce my life points to 100 and special summon as many six samurai monsters as possible from my graveyard.





The only way to counter, I think is umi and tornado wall. Another is emergency provisions. Got any other suggestions?

alright those cards wont help u and the same with des wombat cuz he protects u from card effect damage not cost. the cost here is to change ur life points to a 100. So a good card i suggest is Life Absorbing Machine. This card lets u regain the life points u paid as cost (its only half but its a continuous trap so u can use it with other cards to like solemn judgement and etc.) hope i helped and good luck dueling!

Reply:a really good card to protect effect damage is des wombat, protects you from your oppenets damage and yours, its 1600 atck 3 star monster, very solid and good card
