Can anyone tell how to spot a fake yugioh card please?

I would like to know how to spot a fake yugioh card. The reason why im asking this question is because i have two solomn jugdement cards they both have everything on, the same as any usually genuine yugioh card except one of pink backgrounds is a little ligther or washed out than the other version of the card does this mean its a fake yugioh card or not?

Can anyone tell how to spot a fake yugioh card please?
The backgrounds as such can be a different color it just means a few things might have happened such as it was in the sun to long or it was just made that way. I've noticed that a few of my cards are different colors as well and they were from booster packs I bought. So if its just the color then your ok but if the shiny silver part in the bottom is gone or the back is weird or any of the other things then its fake.
Reply:ook at the corner if usee the silver thing its real

look at the back if it looks lighter its fake

look at the names if there not from country then its fake ND IF THE SPiral goes in a weird way its fake
Reply:i wouldn't risk a ruby on it
Reply:look at the corner if usee the silver thing its real if not fake

look at teh names if there dif to your country then its fake :D hope that helped :)
Reply:I'm not sure. One of my cousin told me to rip of the backside of a card to know if it fake or not, but he was lying. I wouldn't do that.
Reply:backs r lighter the place where KONAMI is it says YUGIOH! in Comic San MS and it is Yu-Gi-Oh! not YUGIOH! ALSO FAKE CARDS R MUCH THICKER AND MST OF THE TIME HAVE A REMOVABLE PLASTIC PART ON THEM Also the bottom right corner on the front of the card will not have the ''Millenium Item's Eye of Ujaht'' in the box on fake cards. also remember to look for spelling. I got a foil Rageki Break and when I looked at it closed I saw it said "spellll" not spell in the card text. One more thing fake ones feel more like cardboard. ALWAYS buy yugioh from stores like WALMART or gamestop (Gamestop now sells booster packs for $2.99 instead of $3.99 and starter decks for $6.99 - $8.99)
Reply:Here are some basic ways to identify counterfeit Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARDS:

Cards stating that they are manufactured in China or are printed in the Chinese language ARE NOT authentic. Official Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARDS are only printed in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, French-Canadian, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese.

The hologram located in the lower right-hand corner should have the Eye of Anubis located on it. The foil that is used can sometimes be scraped off with a fingernail or is put on the card incorrectly.

The coating on the cards that Upper Deck utilizes is not unlike that of a deck of playing cards. Counterfeits often use "shiny" coating with many layers applied to make the card "feel" thicker.

The back of the card should have Konami® in the top left hand corner and Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME located in the bottom right-hand corner. No markings whatsoever are a good indication of counterfeit.

Spelling is another indicator of counterfeit. Counterfeiters usually misspell Konami and Kazuki Takahashi.

Certain packaging looks blurred and even some are stickers (usually from vending machines).

Hope this helps you out for future reference.
